How do I request an assessment?
Use the appointment request page or email the claims team for insurance-related assessments, and the general team for non-claim technical services. An appointment is only arranged once Electro-Sat confirms it.
What does a technical damage assessment involve?
It may include inspection, systematic fault finding, diagnostic testing and a written technical report, depending on the equipment and circumstances.
What is a forensic-level investigation?
A more detailed technical examination of the failure and available evidence. This describes the depth of investigation, not a claim of formal forensic accreditation.
How is repair versus replacement considered?
We investigate technical feasibility and practical cost considerations, then recommend a repair or suitable replacement.
Can I arrange a workshop assessment?
Yes. Request a workshop appointment first; Electro-Sat will confirm arrangements before you bring equipment in. No address is published until verified.
Do you perform on-site assessments?
On-site assessments can be requested, subject to suitability, location and appointment confirmation.
Can you provide replacement quotations?
You can request a quotation for suitable new replacement equipment where repair is not technically or economically viable.
Can I offer equipment for salvage?
Electro-Sat purchases insurance salvage through enquiries from insurance companies, underwriting managers and insurance brokers. The public storefront is for customers buying salvage, not selling equipment.
